JAR TOYS / (ART TOYS)!!!

Una pequeña introducción:

El fenómeno de los Art Toys forma parte de un movimiento urbano que nació en Japón de la mano de un grupo de artistas de diferentes ámbitos (diseño, ilustración, cómic, moda,graffiti, etc.), se extendió por todo el mundo.

El objetivo es crear figuras con diferentes materiales generalmente plásticos, como el vinilo (vinyl toys) o ABS. El tamaño suele variar desde los 5 cm. hasta los 20 cm. Aunque, incluso se crean figuras a gran escala para exposiciones o coleccionistas. Éstas figuras se producen en serie de no más de 2.000 piezas y, por ello, suelen ser piezas para coleccionistas e incluso alguna de ellas se convierten en objeto de culto.

Debido a los altos costes que supone producir una pieza única, se crean figuras en blanco que sirven como lienzo para que cada artista lo personalice a su gusto, son los denominados custom toys, figuras customizadas por artistas creando piezas únicas.

Desde hace tiempo he estado interesado en este tema, en esta ocasión he tomado un Mighty Mugg como plataforma, este mide 15 cm.

Comparto con ustedes estas imágenes, espero sean de su agrado, debo mencionar que el diseño original lo encontré en la red y le adapte algunos cambios.

A brief introduction:

Un elegante Goofy!

Tiene tiempo que termine de pintar esta figura, fue una comisión mas grande de lo común y muy laboriosa, el pantalon al estilo "Rayas de gis" fue algo tardado, pero al fin quedo.

No puedo decir que Goofy sea mi personaje favorito de Disney, pero me divertí mucho pintandolo y el resultado me agrado bastante, espero que también les guste.

Have time to finish painting the figure, was a bigger commission than usual andverylaborious, the pants style "chalk stripes" was somewhat slow, but finally stayed.

I can not say that Goofy is my favorite character from Disney, but I had fun painting itand the result pleased me a lot, I hope you will like it.

Por el poder de Grayskull!!!

Hace un tiempo vi una escultura de Skeletor y me gusto mucho, de la marca "Neca" y esculpida por "The Four Horsemen", esta figura ya es muy difícil de encontrar y con un alto costo para mi gusto.

Tiempo después encontré la figura a manera de "Garage Kit" y no lo pensé mucho para comprarla, me di a la tarea de pintarla y a continuación les presento algunas imágenes del resultado..., por cierto si alguien se interesa por ella con todo gusto podemos hacer un trato.

Some time ago I saw a sculpture of Skeletor and I liked, the trademark "Neca" and sculpted by "The Four Horsemen Studios ", this figure is already very difficult to find and with a high cost to my taste.

Un Monstruo de 5 Cabezas no muy "Moderado".

Ésta es una figura alusiva a el grupo Mexicano "Moderatto", una banda de rock que se formo en el año 2000 y que tambien algunos le llaman "El monstruo de 5 cabezas". 

Aqui les dejo unas imágenes del Paint Master, tal parece que ya hay varias ideas, espero que se produzca pronto alguna de ellas. 

This is a figure alludes to the Mexican group "Moderatto", a rock band that formed in 2000 and also some call "The 5-headed monster."
